I went to Dominos Pizza about 1-1/2 miles from my house, and went by myself. It is on a very busy street and there were lots of people out tonight. Just outside the door, there was an indigent sleeping/past out on the sidewalk. I went into the store and was the 5th person in line. The inside of the store was very clean. There were chairs to wait in while the pizza was being prepared. When I ordered I asked if I could take some pictures for a project and was told I could, but no pictures with the employees, as they would need to sign a release, and they weren't prepared for that tonight. There were 8-10 employees in the kitchen, so my area to photograph was very limited. I noticed two of them were getting delivery orders ready and 2 drivers were waiting to take them. It seemed to be a very congenial work environment. The staff was very nice and greeted me when I came in the door.
I ordered a pepperoni and cheese pizza. I prefer to have the food delivered to me, rather than going and picking it up. In the store front away from the cash register in the corner is a refridgerator with drink inside. I felt this was an odd place to keep it as it might be easy for somebody to just take a drink and walk out.
I waited for approximately 10 minutes for my pizza and left. I brought my pizza home, hot and it smelled delicious. My daughter was happy and thought it tasted good.
